Students in my studio take weekly lessons, electing to book 30, 45, or 60 minute time slots based on their needs and goals. I find that the students who have the most success in my studio have a few common traits:

What I Offer

  • Clarinet and piano Lessons

    In order to see growth and improvement in your playing, you need strong fundamentals, effective practice strategies, and sustainable physical and mental habits.

    To accomplish these things, we will select engaging repertoire, create clear goals and practice plans, develop a warm-up routine, implement a variety of practice strategies and approaches, improve physical comfort while playing through body awareness, and find opportunities to share progress and perform.


  • Online and In-Studio Options

    Students in any location can take lessons with me online via Google Meet. Students willing and able to commute to Northeast Greensboro, NC can attend lessons in my studio. Hybrid models of both types of lessons can also be utilized to accommodate students with varying schedules.

Studio Extras

In addition to a weekly one-on-one lesson time with me, students in my studio receive numerous other benefits and opportunities. Each student will receive practice planners and logs, as well as a continuous record of notes and assignments from all lessons. Students will also have the option of participating in monthly group classes and semesterly studio recitals, and the opportunity to participate in monthly practice challenges for fun prizes.
